Home Guidelines

Pre-Installation Guidelines

  • Ensure roof structure is strong enough to support solar panel weight (approximately 15-20 kg per panel)
  • Clear any shadows from trees, buildings, or structures that may block sunlight
  • Check roof condition and repair any leaks before installation
  • Keep 10-12 feet clear space around the installation area for technician access
  • Ensure proper documentation is ready (electricity bill, ID proof, property documents)
  • Discuss inverter placement location with our technical team
  • Plan cable routing path from rooftop to meter room

During Installation

  • Ensure water and electricity supply is available for installation team
  • Keep children and pets away from the installation area for safety
  • Provide secure storage space for tools and equipment
  • Coordinate with building society/neighbors if required
  • Be available for any decisions that may arise during installation
  • Verify all materials delivered match the quotation specifications
  • Installation typically takes 1-3 days for residential systems

Post-Installation Care & Maintenance

  • Clean solar panels every 15-20 days with soft cloth and water (no harsh chemicals)
  • Monitor system performance regularly through the monitoring app
  • Check for any visible damage to panels, wires, or mounting structure monthly
  • Keep inverter area well-ventilated and dust-free
  • Trim any growing tree branches that may create shadows
  • Schedule professional maintenance check every 6 months
  • Keep all warranty documents and installation certificates safe
  • Contact technical support immediately if you notice performance drop

Safety Guidelines

  • Never attempt to repair or modify the system yourself
  • Do not touch electrical connections or inverters with wet hands
  • Keep flammable materials away from inverter and electrical panels
  • In case of fire, shut down the system using the DC isolator switch
  • During lightning storms, the system has protection but avoid touching panels
  • Do not climb on solar panels or mounting structure

Government Subsidy Guidelines

  • Subsidy is available for residential rooftop solar systems up to 300 kW
  • Required documents: Aadhaar card, electricity bill, property documents, bank details
  • Subsidy amount varies based on system capacity (check current rates)
  • Net metering approval is mandatory for subsidy claim

  • Subsidy is directly credited to your bank account after installation

Warranty Information

  • Solar Panels: 25-year performance warranty (90% output for 10 years, 80% for 25 years)
  • Inverter: 10-year manufacturer warranty with optional extension
  • Mounting Structure: 10-year warranty against corrosion and defects
  • Workmanship: 5-year warranty on installation quality
  • Warranty does not cover damage from natural disasters, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
